The Press Conference went really well on Friday. We unveiled our Rover name and it is, Amerigo. We also said our mission status which is we have our touch sensors programed,light sensor on and programmed, RAT on and programmed and our iPod touch on the Rover. L.Taylor,Progect Manager, A.O.A
On Friday, we had a press conference. Each of the groups (A,B,C,D) spoke live. They described their Rovers so far. The questions for every group could have been better. The questions were already answered in their describing.
On Friday the IDep Team reported during the press conference that our Rock Abrasion Tool, R.A.T. is build and we were trying to build the arm. Also we have decided to name our rover Amerigo after an explorer. - B.Farr, IDep
On friday, all of the Rover groups had a press conference to present their current Rover status. Before the conference, all the teams went to seperate rooms to put together our presentation. Then, we practiced speaking for a little bit and then headed into the big room to do our final presentation. Our team, Amerigo, just talked about where we were in our rover progress and what our goal was. I thought that our group did really good and the other groups did good too but some of the groups messed up and were not that loud in speaking. G.Buck,engineer,VCom
On Friday each team had a Press Conference about how far they are on their rovers, what their Rovers name was, and also on their goals. Our Rovers name is Amerigo. Each group took about five minutes, and at the end of every Conference people from the crowd got to ask questions.

Amerigo, Bold, Capability, and Delta was going to have a student from each team, (EDL, MFO, AOA, CorNav, IDep, and VCOM) to present what they were working on. So Amerigo met up and each student was picked and we were practicing the Press Conference. I was picked in my group to be a speaker. So I had to run three test runs. After that it was time to start the conference. Amerigo went first. The project manager went first and then the rest of the students presented. Then the rest of the Rover teams went up and were able to ask questions. We finsihed the Press conference with a success.

Thoughout the Press Conference, a abundance of information was presented. All teams discussed plans, achievements, and their future goals. Since I am a part of the EDL Team, I will explain what we have reported. First, we included a detailed description of our heat shield at that current point in time.
